Living in the snow

This is a photo taken in Otaru, Hokkaido.
There are fences made to keep the snow from falling down the parking area.
It's clever and funny.

The world is out there

I really felt so at home when I saw the great ocean out the window of the train to Otaru, Hokkaido.
It made me feel like I wasn't in Japan!
I thought that I could feel anywhere I wanted to be!

feel the party

with such gorgeous lights up there, I felt as if I were at a castle.

Faith

This is a Japanese fortune teller, who makes key holders that brings you luck.
He fills the small mallet with tiny golds that are shaped in things that brings you luck as in frogs and so on.
I believe whatever that is good for me!
What do you believe in?

Gather place

This is a place in Hakone, Japan, an area which is famous for hot springs.
This is a tea place where alot of people come from all over the place.
They leave their letters and IDs on the walls to show that they were here.
And then they go to another place to another trip.

Your choice

Japanese traditional sandals made by wood.
The strings are in different colors and patterns.
You can choose whatever one you like.
Like your own life.

Walk to trip

What is the difference between 'a walk' and 'a trip'?
Though, I walk to some place, I feel like having a short trip by finding new things around me.

Silence Before the Show

This was the evening before the competition had started.
People were excited, but the hill seemed to have kept silence and so did the great evening sky.

jumping towards the city

this is a picuture from a ski jumping hill at Sapporo, Okurayama.
I took this great picture during the world championships.
The jumpers must have imaged themselves jumping to the Sapporo city right ahead!
